Diet has many topics! We have diet as it relates to physical nourishment. That is our food. At present, I am on a plant-based alkaline diet.
Since I suffered from paralysis in parts of my right hand and my right foot from a bleeding stroke (also known as a hemorrhagic stroke), I have been in a wheelchair.
This paralysis causes me to try and heal myself with my diet.
Food plays a vital role in health. Many health conditions, like obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and stroke, are linked to dietary habits—our eating and drinking.
Therefore, a healthy diet is a crucial part of overall well-being.
What I experience as a health concern has made me more creative in my thinking to source more solutions.
Because it helps me see how I can improve with different methods.
It forces one to think 'outside the box,' as the saying goes. So, I continue to explore different healing modalities.
This strict plant-based alkaline diet that I am on right now excludes all acidic, processed, hybridized, and genetically modified (GMO) foods.
I utilize only the fruits, vegetables, and herbs that promote an alkaline pH. High-vibrational food!
Emphasizing only natural, mineral-rich plants that align with the body’s biological needs.
Also, the water we cook with and drink should be free of chemicals, like chlorine. Therefore, certain brands of spring water are considered safe.
I avoid any food and drink that contributes to an improper diet.
The dietary program has allowed me to release weight extremely fast. (I prefer the word 'release' instead of 'lose,' because I do not want to 'gain' the weight back).
What follows is a list of some vegetables and fruits, which is not an exhaustive inventory. But it must not contain any hybrid, GMO, or adulterated items.
Vegetables include bell peppers, kale, spinach, zucchini, mushrooms, cucumbers, avocados, okra, olives, cilantro, cherry and plum tomatoes, watercress, and lettuce (except iceberg).
Fruits include apples, pears, dates, figs, guavas, berries, melons, cantaloupes, soursop, mangoes, plums, and grapes, with no hybrids like seedless fruits.
All in all, it has made a tremendous difference in my life in a very short space of time, from the very first day I began the diet.
The food in this diet is so natural and wholesome that the nourishment it provides is filling with only a small quantity.
You do not feel hungry, and fasting for hours in the morning feels refreshing.
Be that as it may, embarking on this diet takes time, as habits do take a while.
However, seeing and feeling the benefits has made me a believer.
Even so, I never swear by anything because life is so fickle, especially when it comes to diets.
We all have to decide for ourselves.
Food for me is nourishment for my body, the temple of the Holy Spirit.
And when you eat this diet, you feel and experience the spirit, the vibes! You vibrate at a higher frequency.
That is all I can say. Try it for yourself if you can stick to this strict diet.
In my introduction to this article, I shared, "Diet has many topics! We have diet as it relates to physical nourishment."
There is a more important diet, the one that feeds our minds and our spirits—our words that we constantly think.
