Being Lovable

Being lovable is being kind and compassionate, for God is love!
There are countless ways we can be caring!
Like a smile, a kind word, and an understanding heart.

We are angels to each other by our deeds of being supportive and nurturing.

Our days can be a blessing by being a blessing to one another.
Remember, loving one another is a Godly trait. Angels carry out God's work.

So when we do our loving Creator's work, we are angels.

Let us continue to be a blessing to one another, for we are angels!

"Do not forget to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." Hebrews 13:2

My Christmas Miracle

Witnessing or experiencing a real-life miracle is indeed a gift from God. That is how I would describe it.
Many years ago, I distinctly remember a Christmas Godly wonder.

It was Christmas Eve, and I was shopping in my hometown of Arima for a particular music album. I began searching in the musical shops for this album that would make my Christmas complete.
I eventually came to one of the shops to be told that the album had just sold out. However, this business had another shop in a different city that had copies of the music album for which I was searching.

However, it was now late, and to go to a far-off city was out of the question.

So I resigned myself to accept the situation. I was not happy knowing I did not succeed with my personal Christmas shopping.
I then went back home to celebrate this Christmas with my other brothers and sisters.

Later in the night, gifts were given out by family members.

Then, I was presented with a gift and was told it was from my dear Mom, who was residing in Brooklyn, New York, at the time.
From the look of the gift, it was in the shape of a music album.

I said to myself, "Oh, Mom, thank you for this gift. I love you. And thank you for this, Neil Diamond music album."
(Everyone knew how much I loved Neil Diamond.)

And as I was opening the gift, I said, "Dear God, this one time, how I wish this album was not Neil Diamond. How I wish it were Kenny Rogers - Lady. Oh God, please, please!"
I could not believe that, as the album became visible, it was indeed Kenny Rogers - Lady.

Tears came to my eyes as I witnessed a miracle, a Christmas miracle.

Still remembering this Christmas miracle, and my dear, loving Mom, sure brings tears to my eyes.
